The quiet location of Blue Yonder Beach House is just behind the dunes of Hayle Beach. The beach is popular with surfers and is a haven for children with many rock pools to explore it is also very safe and manned by lifeguards during the summer months. A Nature reserve is located just a few minutes walk away and the National Trust protected cliffs opposite Godrevy lighthouse offer excellent walking and seal spotting! In the immediate area there are 3 lovely little cafes some which only offer tea, cakes and sandwiches but some which offer delicious meals at breakfast, lunch and dinner. Excellent restaurants can also be found in St Ives which is a 15 minute drive.

This 2 bedroom beach house comfortably sleeps 5 in immaculate and stylish holiday accommodation.
Bedrooms
The beach chalet now features: One large master suite, with King Size Bed and walk in, en-suite wet room and patio doors leading directly onto the beautiful decking with magnificent views of St Ives bay beyond. There is also a very cute and “sea-sidey” porthole window.
The second bedroom is also a good size and offers bedding for 3 people, including a double bed and a single bed at the foot of the room. When not in use the single bed converts into a day bed and is adorned with lots of brightly coloured cushions and throws and makes a relaxing spot to relax on a lazy afternoon.
Porch
We have made use of the space and converted the property sympathetically and making use of all the wonderful sea views. Therefore as you walk into the Beach House from the front door you walk straight into the porch which has sturdy terracotta tiles where you can leave wet belongings, boots and shoes (shed outside for surf boards etc), from there through a glass interior door takes you into a large open plan, kitchen and living room.
Kitchen
The kitchen has wooden cabinets painted duck egg blue, with black granite surfaces and a natural tile splash back. There is a large cast iron butler sink, electric cooker and hob, built in fridge, dishwasher and freestanding microwave. We also include alll the utensils and crockery you could need, including some lovely crockery produced by some local potters.
Utility room and family bathroom
From the kitchen a small corridor leads to the utility room which has all the usual, ironing board, washing machine (tumble dryer is located in the shed outside) and a small freezer. Tthere is both an inside and outside drying rack and washing line. The corridor continues to the large family bathroom, which features a large corner bath, separate circular shower cubicle and basin and WC.
Open plan living room
Directly in front of the kitchen area in the open plan living room is the sitting area, which has wall mounted 32 inch T.V, wall mounted DVD player and in the kitchen a wall mounted Bang & Olufsen CD player with ipod connections. There is a comfortable 3 seater sofa, 2 seater sofa, an arm chair and coffee table.
Garden room / conservatory
Through some sliding patio doors and down some steps takes you into the Garden Room/ Conservatory which has a large glass dining table mounted on a painted tree trunk. The table seats 6. On the other side of this room is another seating area.
Veranda and outside
Outside the conservatory is a veranda which has 2 hammocks hanging in fine weather and the deck starts from here and wraps around the property towards the sea. It has been beautifully designed and is on different levels, with planted areas and a stunning lighting display at night. On the deck there is a wooden table and 6 chairs and 4 steamer loungers with cushions and a 2 seater bench is located on the patio tiles, next to a BBQ.
Outside there is a small shed which houses all manner of beach paraphanelia which all guests are welcome to use, to name a few we have, buckets and spade, several surf boards, 2 boogies boards, skim board, tennis balls, rackets, 2 windbreaks, cot and highchair.
Views: sea, Godrevy Lighthouse and St Ives
The views of the sea, coastline, Godrevy Lighthouse and St Ives are stunning and this property must be booked to be truly appreciated.
Pampering on arrival
All guests are pampered with a luxury hamper, Trevarno Hand Soaps and other “smellies” on arrival. Locally and in some cases, home, grown flowers will also be in the cottage on your arrival. All Beds are made up with white Organic Cotton sheets, and two fluffy white towels are provided for each guests. Throughout the Beach House, beautiful wooden floors have been painted in sympathetic and relaxing colours, interesting art work adorns the walls, the highest quality fixtures and fittings have been used, and some great designer fabrics and prints on throws and cushions and the style of the property is, contemporary, stylish and we think the décor helps our guests to totally relax on their well earned break. We also have a wonderful massage therapist who will visit the beach house on your request for a totally relaxing massage. Please ask for details at time of booking.
Plenty to see and do: St Ives and Penzance
There is plenty to see and do in the local area and there are some fantastic restaurants in the nearby towns of St Ives and Penzance and even the famous Jamie Oliver Restaurant of 15 at Watergate bay is only 45 minutes away.
